# Three-Day Scar Covering Intensive

THE SCAR PROJECT

A focused three-day workshop for experienced tattoo artists refining technique, planning, and client care.

3-Day Free Scar Tattoo Workshop · Goa · 11–13 December 2026
The Scar Project is a workshop for experienced tattoo artists who want to learn how to work more confidently, safely, and sensitively with scarred skin.
The goal is simple: to share knowledge so more tattoo artists around the world can offer scar-covering tattoos, so people with scars don’t have to travel far to find someone qualified to help them.
Over three days, we’ll explore four key areas:
Understanding scars — including surgical scars, burns, skin grafts, breast cancer scars, and different types of scar tissue.
Designing for scars — how to create designs that work with the body’s shape and movement while naturally shifting attention away from the scar.
Technique & skin — how scarred skin differs from healthy skin, how to approach it, and which techniques can work best.
Working with the person — understanding the emotional side of scars and creating a process that feels safe, respectful, and empowering. A scar can carry a story that goes far deeper than what we see on the surface.
The workshop is FREE and Dhana-based. Donations help support The Scar Project and make it possible to bring this knowledge to more artists and communities around the world.
The workshop is open to experienced tattooers from all tattoo styles. I won’t be teaching a specific tattoo style or geometric design. Instead, I’ll teach you how to understand and approach scarred skin, so you can apply the knowledge to your own artistic language and style.

My work is about celebrating the body, building confidence, and expressing what you carry within.
My designs are created around the shape and movement of each individual body, with patterns inspired by tribal art and organic forms.
Each tattoo is designed to flow with you — like a second skin.
My Vision
Helping people feel comfortable and proud in their bodies.
I use tattooing as a way to transform areas of the body that may carry difficult memories, insecurities, or personal experiences into something beautiful and empowering.

## FAQ

### Can tattoos be created over scars?

Scarred skin may sometimes be tattooed, but it needs careful assessment because scar tissue can differ from surrounding skin. The scar needs to be at least 18 on the old to be tattooed , and to have a doctor examine it to determine if it is healed and ready to be tattooed.
Then we start a discussion of what we can tattoo based on the skin condition, your personal preferences and body placement.

### What should I consider before getting a tattoo?

It is helpful to think about the design, placement, personal meaning, and how the tattoo fits your body and lifestyle. If you’re traveling to get a big project done, It’s helpful to be prepared for an intense experience, whether it’s pain while getting tattooed, healing time or just the adjustment to a big change done in a short time .

### How can I travel to you if I live far away?

I have clients from all around the world . We plan 6-12 months ahead their travel, so you can prepare for your trip. I make an effort to complete the tattoo project we planned in one trip.
I can recommend accommodation and guide lines to traveling to India . It might take time , but if you really want it - it can happen . And it’s worth it !

### Who can participate in The Scar Project?

The Scar Tattooing Workshop is for experienced tattoo artists of any style or genre who want to learn how to approach scar tattooing safely, respectfully, and with a deeper understanding of the skin and the people behind the scars.
It’s for artists who want to expand their skills, help people transform the way they see their bodies, and become part of a movement to make quality scar tattooing more accessible—so people don’t have to travel across the world to find an artist they trust.
